Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to (FAQs) about our doves that people usually ask us when we attend events with our birds.

A frequently asked question is, "What happens to the doves after they are released?" Our release birds are actually white homing pigeons that are bred specifically for release and they have a natural homing instinct. We are concerned about the safety of our birds so we limit our releases to a 60 mile radius from Saginaw, Michigan, however they are capable of flying much farther.

Another common question is, "Will the birds leave droppings on my guests?" "Are the birds clean?" "Do they carry disease?".

No, there will be no droppings because our birds are not fed the day of your event until after they arrive back home from the event. Our birds love to bathe and clean themselves. On the day of the event we provide a bathing water so the birds will take their daily bath. Our birds are also vaccinated and wormed and we use a disinfectant in the loft after each cleaning.
